Jodi Scholes opened the Northern VA Massage Center in 1994.(NVMC) She and 12 qualified massage therapists work full time. There are several of the staff that specialize in Sports Massage.
In 2001 and 2002, Ms. Scholes worked regularly with several Washington Redskins such as Delbert Cowsette, Renaldo Wynn and Ifeanyi Ohalete.
Jodi was the official massage therapist of DC United, Major League Soccer from 1996-2004. She accompanied the team on many road trips, but none quite as exciting as the MLS Cup in 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004 when DC United won Major League Soccer Championship for the fourth time.
Currently Jodi enjoys working with runners, bikers, swimmers and triathletes. Some of her clientele include professional runners, Olympic athletes, Kona qualifiers as well as talented age groupers.
Jodi and her staff have volunteered seated massage therapy services for many charitable organizations such as The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Alzheimers Association, Touchdown Club Charities, Virginia Parks and Recreation and The Women's Business Center of Northern Virginia.
Jodi Scholes and her team at NVMC brings the highest level of commitment to professionalism and quality service. Jodi and her team's experience insures one of the most enjoyable and effective massage experiences in the D.C. Metro area.
