Cliff graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute (PMTI) in 1992 and has emphasized sports massage in his practice since. His practice is based in Vienna but he has worked with many collegiate athletes on site, including the George Mason University Women's Track Team (for 7 years) and the American University Track and Cross Country Teams (since 2003).

Cliff has worked at hundreds of sporting events including the Mobil Invitational Track Meets, the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics, the 1995 National Wheelchair Championships, the 1998 National Arm Wrestling Championships, and the NCAA Track and Field Championships (7 years). He has worked at a variety of marathons (Marine Corps, Baltimore) and triathlons (Reston, Eagleman).

Cliff has been: an examiner for the American Massage Therapy Association's Event Massage Exam; a Deep Tissue instructor at the Potomac Massage Training Institute; and is currently on staff at the Applied Kinesiology School. Cliff incorporates elements of orthopedic massage, trigger point therapy, NeuroMuscular Therapy, and other modalities into his sessions. All sessions are by appointment only.
